We rely heavily these days on the general public donating food at supermarkets.
Many supermarkets now have static collection points where you can donate food (tins and packets)
We also regularly have weekends where we ask volunteers to stand on the doors and give out food lists to shoppers
One or two hours once or twice a year is all we need
This is especially helpful in balancing up our food stocks when we are running low on certain items
